The International Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Investigator’s Association is a professional training organization made up of federal, state and local law enforcement and prosecution personnel. Originally formed in 1974 as the IOMGIC (International Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Investigator’s Conference) in San Diego, California, it served as an educational organization, with its goals to improve the investigative skills and information exchange among its charter members. The purpose of the organization is to provide a conduit for information exchange, updated training, and international network building among its estimated 600 members.
